Directions
From Washington, DC:
Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (Route 295) North to Greenbelt Road (Route 193). Take Greenbelt Road East for approximately two miles. You will pass the main gate on the left at the first traffic light after Cipriano Road. Continue 3/4 mile on to the next traffic light and turn left onto Soil Conservation Road. Then take the first left on Explorer Road, and follow signs to Visitor Center.
From Baltimore:
Merge onto Capital Beltway/I-495E towards Washington/College Park. Merge onto Baltimore-Washington Parkway/MD 295N - Exit 22A Take Greenbelt RD/MD-193E exit towards NASA Goddard/Glendale. Turn left onto MD-193. Take Greenbelt Road East for approximately two miles. You will pass the main gate on the left at the first traffic light after Cipriano Road. Continue 3/4 mile on to the next traffic light and turn left onto Soil Conservation Road. Then take the first left on Explorer Road, and follow signs to Visitor Center.
Off Capital Beltway/495/I-95:
Take Exit 22A onto Greenbelt Road. Take Greenbelt Road East for approximately two miles. You will pass the main gate on the left at the first traffic light after Cipriano Road. Continue 3/4 mile on to the next traffic light and turn left onto Soil Conservation Road. Then take the first left on Explorer Road, and follow signs to Visitor Center.
