A Disturbance in the Force 
To paraphrase Darth Vader, there was a wide-spreading disturbance in the magnetic field (i.e., Force) on the Sun, likely a coronal mass ejection followed by a host of bright coronal loops coiling in a long line (July 17, 2013). The magnetic field is reorganizing itself. Notice too the darkening around the area where the eruption occurs as material is being pushed away. Near the lower end of the coiling, a secondary eruption occurs as well. The images were taken in extreme ultraviolet light. The movie covers about 12 hours. The very dark area near the top of the images is an elongated coronal hole.
